too bad he was not over in europe. in europe the authorities have surrounded telephone poles and the like with mattresses for people who are texting and walking into the telephone poles.

My brother did that on the way home after we had dinner at our then future in-laws. I forgot what he was doing but he wasn’t looking where he was going and wham!, walked into a hollow parking sign post that was slightly bent. It bonged briefly and he literally saw stars. Except for my sister, me, my mother, then after a while, my brother, starting laughing.
