Did you see the article in today’s Times about poor & uninsured Americans traveling by the thousands to – get this – Mexico for health care. Because it’s too expensive here. My sister-in-law’s company just increased their insurance premiums to $12,000 a year.
Well, being a victim of the jobless recovery I sure can’t afford to pay for health insurance; and I sure can’t afford to pay a penalty on my income tax, as I have precious little income in the first place. SCOTUS did me no favors today.
