Condoms are NOT “contraceptive pills” or “medicine”, and aren’t covered. PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS are the issue. Now granted, the Pope’s headgear DOES look a lot like a condom, so, how much does the “Office of Faith Based Initiatives” stick the taxpayer for that? (Well at least through tax exemptions for the church.)
Is a prescription necessary for a condom in right wingnut world? Can a pharmacist or an insurance company deny you access to a condom? Or is that just the way you wish it was? Medication, prescribed by doctors, is being denied to women based on politics and religion, not on medicine. That’s the problem.
