Oatmeal and Lady Grey tea for starters, please, Citizen Grog, then a cinnamon bun; that’s for me, and our kitty Emo (who is the world’s most fearsome tiger – in his own little mind) would like a wildebeest liver. One that is still in use would please him greatly, judging by his cavorting at 3 o’clock this morning… (I do believe there was a terribly large invisible monster that needed subduing.) If live wldebeest is off the menu, then some turkey giblets would do fine, but chop them fine to make them easier to chew, on account of his missing “canine” tooth.
Just can’t have the happy, go, go go, without the sad no, no, no…..Good morning Tribal kiddos. We are in the thick of it today with 7 inches on the ground already and it’s still going strong. I swept off the porch on a smoke break and had to dig out the bottom step. Current temp is 22F so I better get little man out for some snow fun today. The expected low is -8F and tomorrow’s high will be -2. The Midwest hasn’t seen this kind of weather in 20 yrs.
We started the day at 64 degrees down here. It’s n8w down to 51 and diving. Theynsay we are supposed to be in the low 30’s by the end of the day. Areas just north of me are expected to go into a hard freeze over night. I bet there will be plenty of burst pipes as a result. I bleeded and shut off the outdoor water in the event the hard freeze gets down to the south side as a precaution.

Got down to minus 3.6 this a.m., coming down from a high of 14 yesterday. bbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!Supposed to be normal tomorrow. :))

It snowed overnight, just 1" or 2". It’s also12°F which isn’t bad but for Kansas it’s cold. There’s also a 25 mph wind that makes it fell like -10°F.
