I think thats the point of the cartoon. Jobs are a much larger issue deserving a much larger ball. If he failed at creating jobs, do you think he would be given a ball to spike?
Republicans don’t seem to care about jobs anyway….They’re too busy persecuting gays, blacks, Hispanics, scientists, teachers, firemen and policemen and public servants, unions, women in general and educated people the world over
When you pull trillions of dollars from the economy, to pursue ONE MAN, for nearly a decade, and start two wars to “do it”, costing lives, and jobs at home, it is a big deal. When your replacement comes off the bench and accomplishes what you either would not, or could not, even the NFL doesn’t give the first quarterback the credit for a win, when he failed to carry the ball for even a first down, let alone a TD.
When will the Republicants stop being the opposing team and join the Dims in fixing things? This is not a contest, McConnell, you whore! This is America. Get with the program or get the hell out of the senate!
Oh, yes, Lisa, it’s Obama’s fault that Republican governors like Rick Scott and Scott Walker have made sure to cut government jobs, as if those people weren’t actually working. What is the Republicans’ jobs program, to be exact? Looks to me like it’s “fire all the state workers, cut unemployment benefits, and talk about how much we care about the middle class while making sure the One Percent have all the money they need to invest in nothing that does any good for anyone but themselves.” Have it got it right, Lisa?
You really ought to find another line of work, honey, because political commentary doesn’t suit you very well; you are a bit of a dumb ass.
And let me add, vis a vis the Repubicans’ jobs program, “make sure to cancel any public transportation program, such as light rail, that might actually create jobs and give real people real money.”

Equally incomprehensible! (and I do watch ‘American’ Football).

Nothing worse than a sports metaphor, unless Lisa uses one.

Is that the viable Jobs bill that Congress has prepared for the president to sign/ No? Guess the Republicans haven’t done their job, yet.

Mitt flop Rombot? He never created jobs. He fired everybody, and took what ever he could take..That’s what he will do to us, too.

When will the Dims and their voters realize that the President has spent almost four years doing everything but fixing jobs and the economy.

Right on! Nice to hear someone actually acknowledging his accomplishments in the face of the Right-Wing propaganda blitz!
Romney shouldn’t even be in the same game as Obama, and if the Republicans weren’t so much more efficient at being nasty and venal, he wouldn’t be.
Now, just for the record:

As usual, the gross generalization to the rescue. How about a list of his failures for the rest of us to refute?
