Half of new college graduates are jobless or underemployed. Are you one of them? Don't whine- embrace the new paradigm! (Woman: Would you like a master's thesis with your latte?) Banks are hiring in their fastest-growing line of business: become a student loan debt collector! (Man 1: Pay up or we'll take your mom's car!) (Man 2: Nate? Is that you?) Work outdoors and meet hotties- as a riot cop!) (Police officer: Economic collapse assures a constant suply of cute protesters- cute, and in cuffs!) And there's always work- down at the unemployment office! (Man 3: We're replacing you with a pile of notes that say: "Sorry, no $ for you.")

That renaissance art grad could get a job at a renaissance fair! I heard that they are looking for juggles, jesters and wondering troubadours!

Instead of insisting on buying domestically made products, we were greedy and went for cheaper imports, made by people who would be thrilled to work minimum wage jobs in this country. As a result, USA manufacturing tanked. And now we look for someone to blame.
I guess the munitions sector is still doing all right, which means our biggest product is corpses. But the government can’t keep supporting them forever. I’m afraid a time will come when, having eliminated the middleman, they will get the populace sufficiently boxed in, and then we will have weapons maquiladoras, soldiers, and prison guards, to attend to the noncompliant. I’m sure there will be stuff out there to steal from other countries for some time yet.

Too many people are in debt for the rest of their lives, if something doesn’t change in the college for profit world.
