Actually, Democrats do quite well with the rich. The last couple of elections they’ve won among voters making more that $75,000 a year. Probably because those voters actually understand that Republican policies don’t really work. Where the democrats are in trouble is with poor, working, white males. As soon as these voters realize they’re more likely to become homeless than rich, the Republican party will cease being a major party. But the frenzy over lottery tickets indicates that the mindless optimism that convinces people they’re about to become rich isn’t going away any time soon.
Like most business people, I do much better under Democrats than under Republicans. The GOP blocked the transportation bill, for Pete’s sake. Something everyone used to agree on. Now it’s just see how much government we can destroy. Sheesh. Amateurs.
All you Obama lovers, would YOU PLEASE WAKE UP! I’m not saying the Republican party these days is too much better, but Obama wants to control TOO MUCH of our lives. My gawd, he thinks he is unstoppable.

Well Stephen, I guess you and your buddy were in the picture. The vast emptiness around you speaks volumes.
