@Kranadon….I, too, wonder what is workahol. As in, what alcoholic is to alcohol, workaholic is to………you get the picture here?

Workahol is distilled elbow grease with an OH bond connected to it (as in OH boy, I have work to do!). Alternatively, for workahol with a head on it, try fermenting the elbow grease with union made yeast. (That’s like, OH, I think I have work to do!) (Wait! What am I talking about? Don’t ask!)

We need more Thornapples in the world. 8/5 makes a lot more sense, allowing time for family, God, and friends. Back in the 60’s we sang a song that started out, “Slow down, you move too fast. Gotta make each moment last.” I wish we could go back to that.

Workahol – Texting, six email accounts, three cell phones, Facebook, twitter. Throw them into a blender, puree for six seconds, that’s workahol.

Workaholic, just as bad as alcholic…my old boss was addicted to his crackberry and ended up losing his wife and kids over it. He’d be up responding to emails at 2am and when he couldn’t stop working and she never saw him, she figured why not leave him for someone who’s around more…she was okay with some over time but being married to someone who was never around, is as bad as someone who’s always passed out from being drunk.

There is help for workaholics, problem is society doesn’t really see workaholics as being a bad addiction when it is.

What I don’t understand is if he is a workaholic, 24/7, why is he in the bar?

You are absolutely right! I should have given credit to the great Simon and Garfunkle team. And “Feelin’ Groovy” was my favorite of them all.
