Good Morning WW2-Marine—What fun to see These old friends of ours in a Sunday funnies page—I used to lie on the dining room carpet and absorb myself into the Comic kingdom—Tim Tyler’s Luck—Flash Gordon—Krazy Kat—-Segar’s Thimble Theatre and how my sister loved to cut out the paper dolls from "Tillie The Toiler.

I’m 74 years old, & it seems like only yesterday that I sat on my Grandfathers knee & he read me the " Funnies". Dick Tracy, Mutt & Jeff, Denny Dimwit, Little Annie Rooney, & a treasure trove of other characters.

There was a strip Little Annie Rooney, and she had a dog called Zero. A take off on Little Orphan Annie.

Great color on this strip. The others I subcribe to seem rather washed out. A friend I golfed with many years ago would say thee word about a dozen times in a row when he really duffed one.
