What foreign language(s) did you take in school?

I took Spanish for a couple months in 9th grade, but didn’t get along with my teacher, so I took French in 10th and 11th.

By the way, it seems that people have given up on Tony, huh?

@Sardonis I only took a year of French in HS (with a teacher who did NOT speak it) and took both classical and church Latin in college (my pronunciation earned me the honor of reading the Christmas gospel at assembly. I later bought the books that local high schoolls use, and taught myself Spanish which is the only one I have used in employment (translating contracts, soil reports and construction drawings back and fortth between Spanish and English). I keep it up by reading a novel of Garcia Marquez now and then.

Spanish, 3 years of it. Would have taken a fourth year, but it was a different teacher then, and I did not like that woman, so I stopped.

4 years of French in High School. Very long time ago. Don’t remember much at all, but figure as long as I can manage “parlez-vous anglais?” I have a fighting chance.
