Is that a “Simon” game from 1979?

Besides, hiding a body is easier than answering a lot of questions about why a war profiteer was there when a monarch “slipped” and fell to his death.

    I called it! Sorta….

This is from 2005. When was that incident where members of a cult killed themselves to be picked up by a comet or a mother ship?

SAM’S SCHOOL for SUPERVILLAINSBayonne, NJCase Study ConclusionAnd so, as the sun sinks slowly in the west, we bid farewell to Anson Vail. And what have we learned from our aspiring antagonist (and failed school entrant)? 1. Don’t bet the farm on his last words, “We will be back!” 2. Although madness can be used quite effectively by would-be supervillains, those finding themselves with such a… resource… must take care not to lose sight of their primary goal, whatever it is.3. For respectability among the supervillain community, that goal should be connected to running counter to the law or even general societal norms – otherwise, you just come off as a loony.4. Henchman #66 needs to lay off the red and green chile enchiladas and get back here for another assignment. (Wait a day or two for the gas to subside.)Do not fear that our dear old Alma Mater will be the worse for the loss of this prospective student. We have a waiting list a couple of miles long and (as you have seen) we screen VERY carefully. (With election season soon upon us, we have a larger-than-usual number of applicants from the political world, and we have to sort out the good prospects from the mere doofuses.) But, we’ll also continue to monitor The Kid’s movements – she seems to have a knack for encountering budding bad guys…

A few of us related the mesa and mothership to Devil’s Tower and the alien ship from Speilberg’s “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.”

Even that last panel was similar of the spaceship leaving Earth as the credits rolled in the movie.

TXPAScot—always enjoy the “Super Villians” guidebook. Keep on writing!

So ends the Vail saga. On to the next adventure!

    Morning, Anniephans!

For some reason there was no strip on 1-24-05, which would have followed this one, so I guess we won’t get a strip today.
