MIZ MANNERS (Country Couture)Lesson #4: Achievin’ That Thar Proper “Twang”Howdy! As the nice young feller writin’ the above letter points out, down on the farm the correct past tense for the act of eatin’ is “et.” There is, however, one other leetle mis-take in the above panel; the down-home pro-nun-cee-a-shun for head is “haid.” Ain’t nobody gonna take ya serious for bein’ from the country unless you can nail down that proper Western “Twang” to yer voice.Yer welcome.
Coyotes are will kill small animals (pets in suburbia) as well as scavengers that will feast on larger dead animals and corpses. Assuming mama was still alive, I’d go with werecoyotes… or rabid ones.

Morning, Anniephans!
Grammatical error – In panel 2, the cowboy says, “yore ma got ate by coyotes,” when he should have said, “yore ma got et by coyotes.”
Here’s the link to the 2006 Annie story, “What Bugs You.”
