Nelson is learning fast around his grandpa.

Don’t mess with the Grandpa chair.

But Earl Nelson looks so comfortable!

Even Roscoe knows not to mess with Grandpa’s chair.

I remember a scene from All in the Family where Michael (Meathead) was sitting in Archie’s chair when Archie walked into the room … it was not a pretty sight … funny, yes, but not pretty for Meathead, that is.

I try to tell that to my cat out come the claws.

Why is Nelson always at his grandparents house? Does he live with them????

Next door. All kids prefer grandparents to parents because they can get away with more – not everything, as we see here, but more.

Earl’s grandfathered in to anything in the house.

He looks relaxed!

I feel bad for Opal, Earl loves the couch more than her!

My Dad used to pull a similar line on me when I was a kid. When I got older, it morphed to just “get out of my chair”.

GET OUT OF MY CHAIR NOW!!!

I mean, “Great idea.”

Reminds me of my childhood with Dad.“Why don’t you get up and let you ol’ papy sit there.”
