Though what the LDS Church says is irrelevant, it’s what Mitt Romney says. He told Huckabee on his TV show that he’d “absolutely” sign a “personhood amendment,” which would not only ban all abortions (even if the mother dies as a result of protecting a nonviable fetus), but would also ban almost all birth control (the pill, the IUD, and any hormonal-based system). Colorado soundly defeated an attempt to add this big-government conservative amendment to the state constitution two years ago, and Romney is way out of the mainstream on this one.
I just love the way all those “good Christian” sects actually hate each other and will literally kill EACH OTHER over religious dogma, much mis-interpreted over the ages, yet deny science that can actually SAVE lives, and well, the planet.
