Personally, I think Big Nate reached its peak at around this short time period (2006-2008). Sure, a lot of the strips from other times were impressive, but this was really when Peirce’s art style evolved.

One of the best arcs, Nate deserves to lose it so it’s good that he does and the jokes ans tension work wonders! Could easily be an episode!
