She was trying to be sympathetic with sex workers in the Red Zone when she said that.She was paying a visit as part of the itinerary of a congress or something.Mariela is the head of a Center of Sex Studies and an advocate for gays and lesbians in Cuba.But she doesn’t have a clue.She has been catching flack because she refuses to acknowledge any wrongdoing in her father’s and uncle’s ideology and actions through the years.That double standard leads her constantly to say things like that.
