Sir Nonliberal, the 9-9-9 plan would raise my taxes $4300, and give the Koch brothers a tax cut of multiple millions of dollars. It’s class warfare on an unprecedented scale, even after the past thirty years of the rich sticking it to the poor through the tax code. Perry’s plan is worse — people like Warren Buffett, instead of paying a lower percentage of their income in taxes than I do, would pay NO TAXES AT ALL, since there’s no tax on capital gains, interest, or dividends. Neither of these ideas helps anything that is wrong with America.
