Exactly what “right” does the U.S. have to occupy Iraq forever, OR Afghanistan? Oh, wait it’s not the water, it’s the oil. It was quite a while ago the Iranian ambassador to the U.N. pointed out quite intelligently that using nuclear power for their electricity, and selling US their oil, was more intelligent than “weaponizing”. The whole “nuke thing” is just an excuse in THIS country to keep spending outlandishly on “defense”. It’s not the 1950’s anymore, but you can sure convince a bunch of “conservatives” we’ve not gotten past NORAD and the B-36.

The “Bremmer policy” that was pure Cheney, getting rid of the Iraqi police, military, and political system, was absolutely the stupidest thing the United States has EVER allowed to happen. WE turned Iraq from a secular government, to a sectarian one, one which owes more allegiance to the Persian Shia, than the Arab Sunni, and now blame Iran. Just more stupidity, spelled with a “C”. Saying Kuwait, Iraq, and Iran have no oil that we want, even if we aren’t currently “getting it”, which we actually are, indirectly, is total stupidity and naivete.

To the CONservatives who don’t want us to leave iraq (dispite the fact iraq wants us out and bushy signed an order to get us out by the end of this year), define victory or just admit you don’t want this because Obama is president.
