Adam: That wasn't our best halloween. Laura: Too many complicated costumes. Adam: Even the candy corn seemed lifeless this year. Laura: And lots of rude trick-or-treaters. I think I heard "thank you" at about a 50% clip. Adam: There was a devil dude who said "treat-or-treat." That's so typical of the devil. Laura: And then he walked on our lawn.

My kids automatically say, “Thank you! Happy Halloween!” I hate rude, ungrateful people, so I taught them that at an early age.
