A friend of mine dressed up as her 16-year-old son, wearing his clothes and affecting his teen-age attitude and swagger. For some reason, he failed to see the humor.
After sneaking out of the house and with the cooperation of my neighbor across the street, I put on my costume in their bath room. I borrowed a rain slicker and doned an old man’s mask. I went back over to our house, rang the doorbell. When my wife came to the door, I flashed her and said, “Trick or Treat?”. She said, “Oh my God!” and closed the door.It was a good thing we had a couple back in the den visiting us because the wife was headed for the phone to call the police. She was totally hacked off at me for the rest of the evening.She got even with me though. Next morning, when I asked what went through her mind when she saw me? Her response was, " What is (me) going to think? Oh well, I’ll just tell him not to worry, he was even more dinkeyer than you!" Ouch!
