This website is so disgusting that I’m on the verge of giving up looking at this strip (the only one I want to read daily that I can’t find elsewhere). Today, I was thrust into some almost full-screen ad with no way to “close” it—had to back-arrow out of the site and enter it again before I could read the strip. How I miss the wonderful comics.com! Why on earth did it have to merge with THIS?

He’s using the My Comics Page (http://www.gocomics.com/) rather than individual comics (such as http://www.gocomics.com/grand-avenue).
First time I got the ads I stopped using My Comics and multi tabbed bookmarked my selections.

I think I use the page you are talking about, I have the gocomics.com bookmarked and my favorites but I have to go through them individually now, an ad comes up once in awhile but nothing that causes anything but just a couple of seconds delay and gives me a coupon for Jack in the Box which comes in handy with visiting people who for some reason love that dreck (they do not have it in VA apparently)
