It’s off by months because the artist passed away several years ago and they’re doing it in reruns. While I appreciate that, for some reason, there are fans of both this comic and Geech who like it and enjoy reading it in newspapers and on here, can we PLEASE clear out all these legacy comics and post-death reruns and bring in, possibly, some new talent? The web is chock full of people with great styles and high levels of talent who do it just for the love of it, and yet every time I open a newspaper we have the same horrible, humorless jokes—usually because it’s something they printed five years ago! I will even spare you a snarky comment about how horribly unfunny this strip is if we can just please let Jerry Bittle rest in peace.

I don’t care if Jerry Bittle did die in 2003. I still love his strip and enjoy reading it. It is sweet and nostalgic.
