Have you seen the How I Met Your Mother episode about chicks with “crazy eyes?” No doubt all three of those chicks have the crazy eyes. Oh, and it’s a real thing too.
Lila why oh why do you let yourself get pulled into these crazy schems of your mom’s? Has the good Dr. told the mother at the hospital he was going to ask Lila to marry him. Bet he did.
My mom paid for off color simple wedding dress and I did not cook any meals. I bought the nuts and drinks. First wedding for both us and not pregrant either. until a year later.
When we got married in 1955, I wore a $25.00 white cocktail dress and later had it and the shoes died a pretty color so I could wear them again. My mother-in-law to be paid for the tiara. I have the wedding picture on the buffet.

Seriously, there are plenty of ‘em. Total nuts. I’m sure their marriages won’t last either, but they did get their wedding.

Amen sister. I got married by the Justice of the Peace. Still married 25+ years later.
