How pathetic. Using the comments of a comic to slander the President. Not ready for prime time, are we?

@vwdualnomand and Obama did when he thought Irene was going to be more than it was.

I, for one, am just happy this story arc seems to be over and done with — it was turning the comments sections into the one from Doonesbury, only less intellectual. Enough.

Oh, RJ, Perry, isn’t boring…..he’s dangerous and frightening, in an oddly compelling way.

I think what amuses me most here is the left has spewed a near constant flow of hate and rhetoric for so long at the right, you’ve come to see it as normal and rational. But let me turn vwdualnomand’s comment back at him and all hell breaks loose. Read your own comments and those of your compatriots. Nearly every line contains an insult and a derogatory name. The fact is a Gallop poll in 2010 shows 42% of the respondents claimed conservative with only 20% admitting “progressive” or liberal. Perhaps YOU are the one who needs to get his information from other sources. CNN and MSNBC have become more evangelical for Obama than Pat Robertson is for his twisted viewpoint. Just becouse your side is louder and more obnoxious doesn’t mean it’s correct.

Oh, and I think we may have found some common ground here. I wouldn’t pick a fight with fire ants either. Those little buggers are mean and no where NEAR as fabulous as the Hedge variety.

I hope we’ve seen the last of this soooo unfunny arc and back to the funny Hammy.!(Psst—it’s only funny when it’s true.)

Anyone who knows fire ants will recognize something else. You do NOT have to be the “biggest kid on the block” to get people’s attention or even rule. Texas is familiar with both fire ants and screw worms- small critters that strike fear into residents, or ranchers- economically devastating- just like “Teapubicans”. There IS wisdom from the wild critters, over the hedge.

I apologize for posting a non-political comment, and one which is actually related to the comic to boot, but I just noticed the byline here: “Michael Fry and T. Lewis & T Lewis” Is the second “T. Lewis” the son or daughter of the first “T. Lewis”? And just how long have I been oblivious? (i.e. I’m so clueless I have no idea when this change happened.)
