Actually, there is an interesting undertone to this. While clearly the debt issue is much more complex, the NFL owners and players found a way to solve their problem because they knew that market forces would come into play (loss of revenue, etc). I wonder if anyone in either major party understands that concept.

This is a good example to follow. A little compromise to avoid a disaster for the immediate. Then focus on a long-term solution, but start now!
