This seems like an old strip, the drawings are much coarser than usual, C and H look a bit more sloppy, and the TV is on but not floating like usual.

Hobbes did work hard—he stretched for at least 15 minutes getting up and turning over.

Since they sleep up to 20 hours a day, this activity is actually part of the work regime.
That second panel with Hobbes dreaming of fish screams “draw the squad”. Or rather, “draw the favorite character with a specific favorite food”.
