Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for September 26, 1989
Transcript:
Cavlin: It's Rosalyn! Parent: Answer the door, will you please, Calvin? Calvin: Hi Roz. My parents changed their minds about going out, so we won't be needing your services. Goodbye. Dad: Hi, Rosalyn. What are you talking about Calvin? Calvin: You can't go out if Mom can't find her shoes. Right? Dad: And what do you know about that? Calvin: Uh, nothing! Ha ha! Um, why? Are her shoes missing? Rosalyn: I'd like to be paid in advance tonight.
