Or ’taches.) But I liked the ’toon.
It just occurred to me that I don’t know enough of Turkey’s role pressuring Syria lately. I remembered the Kurds, those that live in Syria and those that live in Turkey; and how Turkey represses Kurds within its borders. Hmmm.
@ SrBW: My 5th anniversary will come up in Sept. I actually proposed to my wife in Sissi, Greece and thought of returning, especially since things might be er, more affordable. :-| But my wife wants a short break in Dublin, you know, another now more affordable holiday destination. Then again, I could head back home, support the old mother country and also now becoming more affordable as a holiday destination… All in the spirit of bailing helping a fellow EU nation. :-| PS: Yeah, I have 6 weeks of bloody holidays to get through somehow! (just returned from a 2 week jaunt from Croatia through to Slovakia via Vienna). Tch, we Europeans just don’t learn, do we.
I wouldn’t place the Europeans on too high a pedestal ;-) But in my dept we did “sacrifice” the need to do overtime in certain circumstances and some of us now follow a different support shift to provide our customers 24/7 support. Still have our jobs…
