Beaufort H Jester was a Texas governor, and cleaned up some attempts to influence the academic integrity of U of T – Austin, also known as UT-A the state’s flagship public university. An area of UT-A is named for him, including two connected residence halls and a cafeteria and other dining choices.Earlier I confused him with T C Jester, a well known Houston preacher, that stuff in Houston is named for, apparently, ironically that stuff includes a C.O. park, according to recent newds stories.
