i’ve been reading Breathed since the early 80’s. loved all his work. but he just stopped one day – even as an ardent follower there’s not a lot we could do about that!
Breathed is the artist who drew the cartoons in the credits for “Second Hand Lions”, making him the grown up Walter, the main character of the movie as a child.

I wonder why Breathed’s early strip hasn’t created its own cadre of followers and commenters… this is easily as interesting as Luann…
