Sorry, but reminds me of GHW Bush’s story that he couldn’t see around his seat armor to check whether his crew was still on board before he bailed out and left them to die when the plane went down. Then of course there was “W” off course getting lost in Alabama when he was supposed to be in Texas. Then the violation of the very authorization Congress DID give W upon invading Iraq- prematurely and without proving the required “cause” Congress laid out.
But selling NATO a few missiles isn’t the same thing as “boots on the ground”, like in Panama, Grenada, et al.
funny that the War Powers Act was created because another socialist started a war in Viet Nam where we lost 58,169 with 304,000 wounded where just under 2.6 million served. It doesn’t surprise me that another socialist is having a problem with this same act.
I completely agree. He should do what Bush did.Bush went to congress, got approval and funding for 100% of his Iraq war.Why isn’t Obama doing the same?
