Annelise, I have to agree with lightenup. It isn’t meant to be mean at all. Just kids talking the way they understand the situation. I’m sure lots of the readers of this strip are senior"ish" like me and understand and appreciate a kid’s perspective on things. I am terribly sorry about your Grandma, but I know the only one of my grandparents that I knew(my Dad’s mother) would have appreciated this strip.

Ironic that my father-in-law went into hospice last night and now we’re just waiting for the end. Old age isn’t a quick end.
