It amazes me that ANYONE is surprised at the actions of this pervert. Unfortunately, those elected to govern us are far from perfect regardless of what we would wish for. The sad commentary is that as those elected relish their power to the point that they consider themselves to be made of stainless steel and untouchable. Fortunately for us with all of the media today getting away with anything is almost imposable. When exposed, these elected “special people” should be treated the same as anyone else who feels the need to act the way that they do..

Weiner will do the right thing and resign, now I expect the GOP apologists to find every excuse under the sun why Vitter is still serving in the Senate. On your mark, get set, go!

“Hello ~ Vitter? Weiner resigned for far less. What’s up, “Moral party?”

Republicans: “If we keep really quiet, the ‘liberal media’ totally won’t bring it up. You know, since the media is totally left wing and would totally bring this issue up day in and day out if that were true. Hey, if we say the media is liberal over and over again that’ll make it true.” *

Cell phones or toilet stalls, even “dating” your best friend’s wife, it all pales in comparison to lying to start not one, but TWO needless wars. “Personal” is personal, even if the idiots like Craig, Weiner, or Nevada’s “other Senator” screw up. When troops and civilians die in large numbers, and the nation commits to more DECADES of debt to pay for idiotic “military actions”, it’s serious. While I don’t like messing in Libya, or elsewhere in the “Arab Spring” the Republicans were all for at first, we SOLD the NATO allies those expended weapons, and if we have any sense, NO boots will hit the ground there. Hmmm, if it IS illegal to sell weapons to our allies in support— when do we stop with Israel??

@1opinion – The anyone else’s are the not powerful who have money to make their wrongs go away without the punishment given so freely to the anyones that deserve punishment for their actions. You speak of the idle immoral perverts who daily get away with almost anything because of the wealth and/or power of themselves or their families. The names that you list have all taken advantage of their position, wealth, and power to dodge punishment dealt daily out to those who have no power. Welcome to the land of the free and the country of the fair so long as the power and money is there to enforce the “fair”.
