    Everyone always forgets that half the time they’re sarcastic, they are being sardonic.And if the kids learned what irony actually means, bless them, I have to look it up regularly and I still can grasp the meaning.

    Irony: the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaningSarcasm: harsh or bitter derision or irony; a sharply ironical taunt; sneering or cutting remarkThe latter is merely a subset of the former. Unless Ms. Anderson is docking Zack for not being specific, he’s absolutely correct.
