I’m always torn about Oprah. She has a great success story that I love to hear about, but I hate everything she’s contributed to.
Dr.Phil,Dr.Oz,that plastic surgeon who killed Kanye West’s mom, the germ-o-phobe episode that still has my wife freaking out about the slightest bit of dirt, her depressing book club full of depressing stories, EVERYTHING!
DrCanuck: Even though I don’t watch the show, I end up hearing all about it from my wife. And it ends up being something that drives me nuts. Like one time (around ‘98-’99), she shows me a diary and tells me she wants us to do a daily “gratitude” journal. Guess who gave her that idea?
I’m not an Oprah hater, I just detest everything from her show. Other than that, she’s a very intelligent and successful person and I love these rags to riches stories.
