Yes, Bush certainly spent like a drunken sailor(my apologies to drunken sailors, everywhere), with federal debt hitting 8.6 trilliion dollars at the end of 8 years of his administration. However, Obama promptly ran it to 14.4 trillion in only a little over 2 years. Both parties are culpable. If you don’t get that, you’re living in a state of denial.
About that deficit thing- Bush pushed the economy out of the airplane, and even with strong effort, like a parachute, the economy still had to reach the ground (bottom) after that plunge before it could get back on a plane.
As to the ‘toon, under Ryan’s plan, the ’phant had to buy HIS OWN gold plated wheelchair for the ride.

It is Obama/Dems who voted to steal $500 Billion from Medicare in the bulldoze-passage of Obama’s Mediscare plan.

It is my considered opinion that when Jesus said, “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father” (Mark 13:32)., he was speaking of himself on the earthly plane in his present time. Of course He knows now.

A good start. If only they had done that to the Reagan budget 30 years ago and the Bush budget 8 years ago, we wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in now.
