Maybe we just need to realize the “Middle East” hasn’t changed a bit since Genesis – Cain and Abel- and won’t any time in the future. Noah’s kids, Abrahams’ kids- all were a pain in the buttinski! Still are, always will be- ain’t just political, or religious, must be genetic? The water? UV radiation? Sand gets into “everything”? Maybe basing all your arguments on mythology isn’t “bright”? These “deer” have locked antlers and are more willing to die than cooperate in any way— more feed for the insects?
dtroutma, maybe we would be best off if we simply cut all financial ties with Israel and Palestine. Cut the $4 billion we give to Israel each year – we certainly don’t get anything good from it.
The ongoing strife in the Middle East lines the pockets of bankers and will continue because it is profitable. It generates money…a cash pipeline…and feeds off ignorance and superstition which historically has always made money for the top dog.
