The joke is that TV infomercials are known for selling such useless junk, especially exercise equipment, that the only one even remotely useful, (pun intended) is one that attaches to the TV remote control. Therefore, the only exercise equipment that is this useless must have been bought off of a TV infomercial.
I wrestled with this one, gang. On one hand, you need to place the character in context so you can see him watching TV and the women commenting on him. Yet, you have to get in close enough to see the weight attached to the remote. The size this runs in some newspapers makes this a challenge. I’m glad many of you got it. But I’m always concerned when some people don’t. That’s my fault, not yours. I’ll do better.
Raising the arm forward (shoulder flexion) works the anterior deltoid – thus the name Delt Blaster 2000. As previous responders remarked, TV is notorious for selling useless exercise equipment, but the ads may look like a good idea at 3:00 in the morning to the inertia-challenged.
