Ted Rall for December 22, 2008
Transcript:
The prisoner's dilemma. Man: The crash is psychological, if everyone makes a leap of faith and starts spending again, we'll be fine! Someone has to spend first. I'm going to lead by example! Man 2: What if no one else starts shopping? You'll have sunk deeper into debt as your income shrinks. Man: It's like recycling. If everyone does it, the world is clean place! Sure is a lot of litter out here.

So GreatSatan, how’s that unfettered capitalism thing working out for your 401(k)?

I don’t see Rall proposing that the gov’t run the economy in this panel. What do you see that leads to that?

I was at my local DMV recently and had a completely satisfactory experience. My private health insurance company, however, is sheer hell and utterly useless and wasteful, not to mention corrupt to the core.
