When my mom got divorced from my step-dad, there was a miscommunication. The lawyer filed for an extension and thought they got it. When the court date came, my mom had no representation whatsoever, not even herself. She got raked hard over the coals.
Her line in the last frame sounds like my ex. She didn’t go for the house though because she’d have had to take the mortgage too. Like benbrilling said though, I got the better end of the deal because I got rid of her.

So the only thing she didn’t get was a happy marriage. Gee! that’s to bad. She sounds like a gold digger. Us guys better beware.

I think that is sad,but it probably is something to think about guys. Do you know if this ever happened to you? It’s a good point, or a wakeup call.

The only reason we didn’t get divorced was because of the kids. Neither of us wanted custody.

Considering how common this is…and how many male victims I know…it doesn’t make me laugh. But I’m glad to see the subject addressed.
