I think we are going to have to have a minute of silence for the plank. After they get through with the rescue, it will be traveling down the river and Poncho will never see it again. So sad. I’d cry me a river but there’s too much water as it is!

Either that, or the plank will be a hero for saving Poo-Poo. Then Poncho will be even more obnoxious, demanding that the plank of wood be given the hero-worship it deserves.

My plank (60 years or so ago) was Mr. Bunners, a wee stuffed rabbit given me by my Mum one day on holiday. I still have Mr. Bunners, he sits on my computer screen yet.
