A rope goes into a bar, and orders a beer. The Bartender says “Sorry, we don’t serve rope here.” So the rope steps outside, ties himself up, and has someone pull the strands away, then walks in and orders the beer again. The Bartender says “Are you not the rope that just came in?” the Rope responds “Nope! I’m a frayed knot!”

ray_of_sun, we must have a similar affliction. The frayed knot joke and this one are the only ones I ever get close to re-telling correctly: What do you call a cow who just had a baby? ….. De-Calfenated!
Where there are chewed up clothes a mouse’s nest is not far away….
Geez, kinda an attitude for a mouse…kind of attitude that brings on traps, and cats….especially when the sailors bend over backwards regarding pools, hockey, football, etc….
