What’s really bad these days is they either include the manual in the phone’s operating software or it is found online. Never in the box in anything close to a printed format. I don’t have an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy, but I do have a Kyocera Duraforce PRO 2 (basically, the only phone I can’t break). The only manual included was a tiny quick start guide about the size of a pocket notebook, and about half the thickness. I paid close to $500 for the phone almost a year ago, so don’t tell me it’s cost-cutting.

That’s why I prefer plain telephones.

Did phones really use to come with manuals? Weird.
