Mothers never do enough in the eyes of others. I sometimes joke I’m losing my memory but it’s only because I’m so busy remembering everything else for the rest of the family, lol!

Amen! But Elly could learn a little organization! She doesn’t have that many children that she can’t have a routine. Rather than rush every day, she might have just a few rushed days. Michael needs to suffer consequences now and then. He’s old enough to have some responsibility in getting ready for school. Maybe Elly does have a routine and this was one of her off days!

It’s those hormones, Mcveinot. I used to be the memory in my household too. Then I had my baby boy… and now I can’t remember squat.

Moms get the blame for things kids didn’t do. Happens all the time.

I have A LOT of medical appointments try to set up the night before. So I can go out the door! Learned that recently too!

LOLs! I love seeing Michael’s eye rolling up while his mommy kept telling him not to forget anything before he left for school. And also, the last panel, it was so awesome! LOLs!

    To Gweedo Murray:

Kind of like the “update” in the receptionist-hiring strip of the recptionist’s appearance-comparison. Original (1979/1980) was “Cheryl Ladd” where new one was “Shania Twain” (edit: I guess, they may have also gotten “Canadian-content police” trouble about that one, since Cheryl is definitely NOT Canadian).

Man, another classic from Lynn Johnston, and this is one of her new ones (the second go-around), right?

I wonder why kids expect their parents to remember things for them that they need as well as expect them to forget the things they shouldn’t have or do.

I created an account just to post this: The more things change, the more they stay the same. http://www.arcamax.com/zits/s-433173-207941
