BC13: I completely agree with your entire statement - I tried my son’s skateboard ONCE, and just about broke my a$$ (and that was just trying to STAND on it - not ride it). You’ll notice “once” is emphasized. Even the lame can learn.
I haven’t watched America’s Funniest Home Videos in the longest time for that very reason.

You are very lucky. To have a breadwinner sidelined and unable to take care of houshold responsibilities - or possibly killed - is no laughing matter. It goes double for single income families.
