The spider’s going for quantity too Garfield, he just can’t hold bigger stockings on his web.

Do you suppose Garfield has a truce with the spiders until at least after Christmas?

not to mention a lot of wee-little spiders.

The spider has 8 legs and 6 stockings Garfield has 2 legs and 1 stocking How many would an ant have?

8 stockings for 8 teeny tiny feet….filled with teeny tiny goodies.

Smart spider! I think he one-upped Garfield.

Imagine a centipede’s Christmas stockings.

Have Garfield’s feet always been so huge. I never notice before. I just noticed it in relation to the size of his stocking. His foot may not fit in it.

You’ll notice that Garfield’s stocking is as big as he is. And the spider’s are as big as he is. So he 6-upped Garfield.

and the stockings were hung by the web with such care, with the hopes that santa will place some flies for him there.

If it were [Wilbur and] Charlotte, Charlotte would have 515 stockings (one for her and each of her 514 children). That would be quite a scene in the Arbuckle house!
