Boy, Liz really knows how to put the pressure on…not only does he have to buy her a gift he has to guess how much she spent on his gift so he doesn’t under-spend her.

Hey, some people are easier to shop for than others. Maybe Jon needs to remember the magic word; “jewelry”.

The eggnog is spiked with eau d’odie oh doh.

When he drinks the loser nog it will bring back memories of every woman he asked for dates who turned him down, as well as the dates of those who went out with him once but he did something humiliating and embarrassing so they never went out with him again.

She’s a veterinarian . Sprinkle some glitter on a hairball, and call it a special ornament.

Liz is showing commitment to him, though, since she presumed she’d still like him months from then. That’s a sign she understands Jon and likes him anyway.

Give garfield to her, than you can say you got it years ago. Nah.

I (emphasis on “I”) still haven’t done my Christmas shopping for my father, brother and stepmother (and maybe five don’t-live-at-home stepsisters).

My husband & my brothers have been known to wait until Christmas Eve. I never could understand that, because everything is picked over by then. If you know you’re going to need to buy someone something, why don’t you do it before you’re rushed and desperate?
