Stick has actually no evidence that Teena ever read her note: that guy told Teena to give the note to “Sabra”, and Stick herself said that “he said ‘yes’”.
I wonder if the note had a question on it, if he thought Stick was a cretin?
The “s” in “nosy” in panel four is virtually illegible. It would be a help if this strip could be enlarged.
