Teena and Gordo were probably playing on the the Jungle Gym; they’ve both already expressed a preference for those types of activities. Still a bit too young for the necking scene. Another thought: why is Teena in a pink dress? With her red hair she would look so much more attractive in a soft pastel green, any colour other than that particular shade of pink! Is it one of Jeri’s cast-offs?
Why is every fashionista-wannabe always trying to dress us redheads in GREEN??!! Green is nice, yes. But my fave colors (to wear, and in general) are red, black, hot-pink, white, gray, and tan.
Since Teena is such a tomboy, I’d think that her aunts, grandparents and parents are always foisting pink and girlish stuff on her, which end up moldering away in the back of her closet. It’s likely that’s the only dress Teena owned that she could fit into. And, since she has no fashion sense beyond blue jeans and t-shirts, her only thought would be to get home and out of the horrid thing ASAP.
