    Hello! I’m here.

So when are you donating blood, Six? I wish I was a bloke sometimes. It’s been scientifically proven that men are better blood donors than women.

What number would Andy Capp be in The Village? The pubs charge tourist prices.

They asked Andy to pull a number out of a hat. Can you guess what number he got?

    Answer later.

That 5 freeway obliterated my old home in San Diego. Just like the 10 freeway practically destroyed my entire old neighborhood in San Antonio. I guess that’s called progress.

Does anybody like my hair? This was taken on Monday. I put in my curling pods and fix it with some styling spray and I have them in overnight.

If you’re wondering what’s in the frame on my wall. It’s my blood donor certificate for 10 donations which I received in 2015.

I wish my hair was naturally curly. I don’t like straight hair. Not on me anyway.

This was taken with my tablet this time. Hence the better quality.

    @Number Six.

Wow. They still let you in? Awesome! I know the stocks are still low which is why I felt crap about not being able to give blood before.

    WELL DONE!

I had my blood pressure taken on the home kit today and it was a perfect reading.

However at the doctors it’s usually high. I doubt it’s “White Coat Syndrome” because the nurses I see don’t wear white coats…

    Thoughts?

Am I the only one who doesn’t feel sorry for Ant from Ant & Dec?

He could have killed somebody for goodness sake. My Mum has the same opinion. I don’t think I want to live in a country where people seem to think it’s OK to drink and drive. There seemed to be no consideration for the people in the other car that Ant smashed into. They just want him back on the TV again.

I watched Dec on Saturday Night Takeaway (I never watch that but my Auntie had it on) and I think he’s quite cool.

    @Number Six

Apparently, those who don’t have sympathy for Ant have no “understanding” of mental illness. Yeah, OK.

It came up on my Facebook feed that my cousin had commented on a video of Ant apologising. It turns out he also has no sympathy for Ant either.

I’m open to being called a heartless cow (I haven’t) by some random strangers but all I would say to them is whether they would be so sympathetic, understanding or supportive if it was one of their loved ones in the car that Ant smashed into.

Sorry, I haven’t even mentioned your accident yet. I hope you’re OK. For what it’s worth, I think you’re very brave. If I had one accident like that, I would be put off for life.

I’ve decided not to take driving lessons anymore. I can’t think of when I’ll ever need a car. So I’m just going to use my provisional license as a form of ID if needed.

On a more happier note, my recent blood donation was issued to Doncaster Royal Infirmary last Friday.

    Amazing.

Now that I have a new (to me) computer I will try a little harder to keep the Village from going quiet again.

I was stupid for not having a complete backup on my now deceased computer.

What saved me from complete disaster was the fact that I had all my financial information and other important stuff saved on a flash drive in plain text format.

This may sound elementary to some of you but it’s what saved this dumb-ass.

What is a plain text format? I know you can save documents as that but I don’t know what it means.

(Now who’s the dumb ass?) Haha

I’ve just watched this video called “This is what happens when you reply to a spam email”

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QdPW8JrYzQ

I’ve never heard of this comedian before but I enjoyed the whole thing.

The reason I watched it was because I used to get a lot of spam emails at work from Russian women claiming to be from dating sites looking for their perfect man.

I did reply back a few times (to see what would happen) but either the email bounced back or there was simply no response.

Another kind of spam email I used to get was from America where apparently a huge pharmaceutical company in New York had developed a new drug that blasted at least 50% of tumours. Could have been more than 50%, I can’t remember.

Anyway they said I had to give this code to my broker which was the first letters of 4 random words.

Obviously I wasn’t falling for it. I know a spam email when I see one. The pharmaceutical emails and Russian dating emails are all scams.

I read about this poor man in Australia who fell for one of the Russian dating scams. Luckily a bank staff member stopped him from transferring money via Western Union to pay for his “girlfriend’s” visa and half her airfare. $400!

    Hope you enjoy the clip.

There has been a spider in my bedroom for the past 5 days or so and I just left it alone because it wasn’t bothering me.

Only to discover it was possibly a FALSE WIDOW SPIDER. It was brown and had a big round body with a pattern on.

It was not a big spider. But looking at it close up it did look different to the common black house spider.

Yes, I’ve been incredibly stupid but I did not attempt to harm the spider. If I had, it would have bitten me because it had been threatened.

I’ve heard once a false widow bites somebody, it can lead to the bitten person having their leg or arm amputated. That is very horrible.

Has anybody discovered possible false widows in their houses?

On a better note, there is a tiny money spider on the freezer and I’m hoping it stays there (or anywhere) until Friday at least so I can have a big win at bingo.

Eww. How horrible! I think a human can only live for a few minutes without a head.

There are snakes in our local museum as well as some tarantulas and one lizard.

One of the snakes is called Lou and he’s so cute. I love him.

By the way that money spider did bring me luck. I won £10 at bingo. I won quite early on. About half an hour after I arrived there.
